Our Team
Joseph Petrucelli is the author of Preventing Fraud and Mismanagement in Government Systems (Wiley 2016) and Detecting Fraud in Organizations: Techniques, Tools, and Resources (Wiley 2013).
Since 2008 Petrucelli has been an adjunct professor at the College of Staten Island where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting, Federal Income Taxation, and Forensic Accounting.
Petrucelli is a founding partner of PP&D Accounting in Woodbridge, NJ. Petrucelli is often cited in the media and professional journals for his work as a forensic accountant. He has been qualified and has testified as expert in many types of litigations in both state and federal courts. As a Forensic Certified Public Accountant, he holds various certifications with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuation Analyst, National Association of Certified Valuation Analyst Forensic Academy, Forensic CPA Society and is a licensed CPA in NJ, NY and PA State Board of Accountancies.
Walt Pavlo is the president and co-founder of Prisonology, which provides consulting, expert testimony and continuing education on the federal prison system for law firms and their clients. He is a contributor to Forbes.com and New York University School of Law’s Program on Compliance and Enforcement where he writes on white-collar crime. Pavlo is the co-author of “Stolen Without a Gun”, which he co-wrote with Neil Weinberg (Reporter at Bloomberg). As a nationally recognized speaker he has conducted training programs at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, major corporations, law schools and top ranked MBA programs across the country. Pavlo has been a featured contributor on CNBC, CNN, The Today Show, ABC Nightline and Fox Business.
He earned his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University and his MBA in Finance from Mercer University. He is also a Journalist Law School Fellow at Loyola Law School (2014).
Parag P. Patel, Esq. is a tax attorney with the Patel Law Offices in Metro Park, Iselin, NJ. Mr. Patel’s practice concentration is in tax, business transactions, international tax planning and estate planning.
Mr. Patel’s expertise is well sought after in all stages of civil and criminal tax controversies including, international tax law, offshore bank accounts and disclosures, civil/criminal examinations, IRS administrative appeals, and other complex litigation. Mr. Patel has advocated over four dozen voluntary offshore tax disclosures before the Internal Revenue Service.

Mr. Patel is the 2012-13 Chairman of the Tax Law Committee of American Bar Association’s GP Solo and Small Firm Division.
